  • 98 Elm Street Somerville, Massachusetts - Somerville
Large crater on Elm street. It looks as if it has been patched at least twice before, but continues to be a problem.
  • 71 Warwick Street Somerville, Massachusetts - Somerville
There's a bicycle locked up on the community path right near the steps up to Warwick street. It's been in the same place for the last two months and is missing the seatpost. It's possible that someone is parking it there every night and taking the seatpost with them to avoid theft, but it's more likely that this has been abandoned.
  • 1500 Massachusetts Avenue Cambridge, Massachusetts - Neighborhood 9

Cyclists who use the new path through Flagstaff park to travel north are dumped onto Mass Ave, where there's a stop bar and a dedicated bike signal. Unfortunately there's a sign facing the other direction that completely obscures the signal when it's displaying a red light. The green lamp is visible, but the yellow and red lamps are totally invisible for a 6 foot cyclist waiting at the stop bar. Please remove or lower the traffic sign, raise the bike signal, or do something that makes the red light visible.

There is another bike signal right next to it that is visible, but it's angled at least 45 degrees away from the stop bar. It looks like it's meant for cyclists who are waiting to leave Cambridge Common.

  • 143-145 Hampshire Street Cambridge Massachusetts - Cambridge
There's quite a bit of broken glass in the bike lane to sweep up, it looks like several bottles worth.
  • 246-256 Lowell St Somerville, Massachusetts - Somerville
  • 180-182 Harvard St Medford, Massachusetts - Medford
  • Somerville Community Path Somerville, Massachusetts - Somerville
There's pretty bad ponding over most of the new section of the Community Path. I don't know if it is a problem inherent to the design of the path or if the snow is temporarily blocking the drainage, but this section of the path is going to be as torn up as the Cedar to Willow section in a few years.
  • 61-65 Grove St Somerville, Massachusetts - Somerville
Space savers for 0.9 inches of snow? Really?
  • Signal head down Acknowledged
    853 Boylston St Boston, Massachusetts - Fenway-Kenmore
Pedestrian signal head is down on the ground next to the pole
  • 130-170 Congress St Boston, Massachusetts - Downtown
Entire bike lane full of cars
  • 49-53 Grove St Somerville, Massachusetts - Somerville
Looks like the tree has uplifted several sidewalk panels. The poor sidewalk and the gate in the road make this impassable to wheelchairs.
  • 14 Kidder Ave Somerville, Massachusetts - Somerville
Kidder from College to Liberty has several large potholes in the path suggested to cyclists by the sharrows.
  • 1181-1199 Broadway Somerville, Massachusetts - Somerville
There are some large raised ridges in the pavement in the westbound direction of Broadway. These longitudinal defects are extremely hazardous for bikes trying to keep right. The only safe way to pass through here is to take up the whole lane. Location is approximate, they come and go several times in this area.
  • 191-207 Cambridge St Boston, Massachusetts - Beacon Hill
There are several areas with uplifted ridges in the pavement. It is pretty much off and on in the north lane of westbound Cambridge Street and it looks like Mass Ave used to. These longitudinal defects are extremely hazardous for bikes trying to keep right, and so the only way to ride safely is to take the entire lane. Please fix!
